Intro to Quickbooks (Virtual Watch Party)

Monday, November 13th, 2023 | 9-11am @ Chamber Jordaan Room, 502 Broadway, Larned

Are you new to Quickbooks or need a refresher? Join us at the Chamber Jordaan Room with the Kansas Small Business Development Center for a virtual workshop on Quickbooks. This is a FREE workshop, and we will have Susan Penka, Business Advisor with the Kansas SBDC at Fort Hays in attendance to help answer questions in person.

All are invited to attend a FREE Customer Service training just in time for the holiday season. Long-time and new businesses can all benefit from this training put on by Deborah Kohl, State Specialist for Community Vitality and Program Coordinator with K-State Research and Extension. They will have two 1-hour trainings on Wednesday, Nov. 15th beginning at 12pm & 1pm.

We're working with various organizations and businesses across the state to create beneficial workshops and classes for you, your employees and your volunteers! These classes, like the Facebook Marketing for Business Class held last fall, inspired us to research more classes and workshops to bring to our businesses and organizations in Pawnee County!

Digital Marketing Workshop

Do you own a business or are interested in owning your own business? We have a workshop for you! The Larned Area Chamber of Commerce is teaming up with Eagle Radio of Great Bend to present a Digital Marketing Workshop on October 4th at 6:30pm in the Jordaan Room, 502 Broadway St. Light refreshments will be available. Please join us for this one-hour session with our hosts that Tuesday evening!

Smartphone 101 Workshop

Do you want to learn how to use your smartphone or maybe learn something new about your phone? If so, join Golden Belt Telephone on January 9th at the Chamber Jordaan Room in Larned from 12:00 - 1:00 pm for a FREE Smartphone workshop. Please RSVP if are attending by noon on January 8th to the Larned Area Chamber at 620-285-6916. Lunch will be provided!

Objectives and Overview:

Learn how to effectively utilize your website as part of your marketing strategy.
