The City of Rozel founded in 1886 and named after the daughter of a local land agent - Roseila, is a small farming community located in Pawnee County along Kansas State Highway 156, the American Auto and Cross Country Biking Trail.  Rozel is a quaint and peaceful community where a young family can raise their children knowing that they are safe and an active adult can retire.

In the Fall of 2010 the City installed a new water purification system that will service all the houses within the city limits accommodating new homes and businesses as the City grows.

Known as a friendly community where everyone waves to you Rozel offers hunting, horseback riding, and hiking in the surrounding countryside.

City Council meets on the second Monday of the month.
