Splash Pad at Doerr Park! The Doerr Park Renovation and Splash Pad is now open with a Fort Larned Frontier type theme. The playground equipment includes themes such as a Fort Playground, General Store, Log Cabin and Covered Wagon. The Splash Pad has a Water Tower that dumps water along with a windmill and other water spray features. The Fort Larned is a great attraction for our visitors to the Park and Splash Pad. The Pride Committee, working with Fort Larned personnel, will include signage regarding Fort Larned in order to encourage tourist to make a stop at the Fort upon visiting the park. This is truly an awesome amenity for Larned residents and Pawnee County! Come on out and bring your family and PLAY on a hot summer day!
