Hello everyone, attached and copied in the body below is a request for funding of the memorial park.

The Veterans need to raise $30,000 by November 25, 2011 in order to beat an increase in material cost of the Granite.

There will be a Ceremony on November 11th at 1:00PM at Doerr Vernon Park not 1:30PM as previously sent out.

See you There!

Pawnee County All Veterans Memorial

The Time Has Arrived!  The Pawnee County All Veterans Memorial will be made out of Black and Gray granite and engraved with the names of Veterans.  Granite benches will allow visitors a quiet place to reflect on the sacrifice our area Veterans have made and the freedom that our area Veterans have provided for us.  The Walk way will be lined with gray Granite Brick Pavers, which will be lettered with the name of the Donor, a Veteran, or a brief tribute in honor of the donation.

Every contribution of $100, $250, or $500 will purchase a granite paver, 4X8, 8X8, or 12X12 respectively  for the walk way and ensure that the name of a Veteran is engraved into the black granite memorial wall. Two different sizes of Granite Benches may be purchased for memorialization as well.

Veterans do not need to be a member of the American Legion or V.F.W.  Eligibility is for

ALL HONORABLE DISCHARGED VETERANS

Lines 1 to 3 are for the 4X8 granite brick pavers, lines 1 through 5 are for the 8X8 pavers, and lines 1 through 8 are for the 12X12 pavers. You may put anything you wish on them as long as it does not exceed 14 letters and spaces per line for the 4X8 and 8X8 pavers.  All 8 lines and 18 letters/spaces are used with the 12X12 pavers.
